His father passed away this year. He moved in with his parents in his hometown, Philadelphia, for his final five months. He took his father to an Eagles playoff game on a Sunday and he died the following Saturday. On Cooper’s right hand he wears his father’s wedding ring. So because of Hurrican Sandy there is a benefit concert happening on Wednesday night and I am super excited about this broadcast and the lineup is purely amazing:
The best part of this benefit is that the organizers want to everyone in the world watching this and they simulcast in every main channel in ever country. In canada MTV, Global and all the american stations are airing it. it starts at 730 pm but im unfortunately at work so I probably wont see it all.
So last night the grammy nomminations concert was last night and it was blah… T| Swift and LL Cool J were hosting… LL Cool J wtf where did he come from… Anyways they showed a couple catageories.. best rock was: Black Keys, Bruce Springsteen, Mumford and Sons, and ColdPlay. In my little classic rock heart I want Springsteen to take but it will probably be Black Keys which I am cool with cause they are pretty awesone and they performed with JD. But where on earth was No Doubt in all of this
But let me talk about the overall atmoshpere… TSwift you have to change your attitude you need to take that smug.. I am better than any of you look on your face.. your record blows… only Adele can write break up songs.. you just need to go away.. I had sympathy for you when you broke up JMayer but now you are all over the place.. not cool at all. As for the perfomances.. Hello again where was no doubt, Mumford and Sons.. Black Keys.. They honestly couldnt get anyone good so they asked Maroon 5 to perform twice.
Lastly where was the Canadian Content, the Biebs, Carly are all nomminated where is there performance.. nope.
I was super excited to to watch this because thinking this will be awesome but nope. I think the grammy people want to give you a tease of what to expect Feburary 10, they need to top their game.. To many teases.. is Mumford and Sons, Black Keys, Springsteen or No doubt going to perform. My hopes are up high once again and I know abosoulty better not to expect the actual musicians to perform at this cermony. Yes TSwift you are not a true musician.. having a capo on the neck for 98% of the time isnt real music.. You were dating John Mayer for goodness sake why didnt you take a guitar lesson.. with a legit player.
After one log month I have finally received a Starbucks offer.!! OFFICIALLY a BARISTA!!!
As I earlier posted that I am in process getting interviewed with starbucks. Finally the store manager has returned and wants a interview with me on monday!!! I am soo nervous because the previous guy still hasn’t given her feedback about my 1st interview. but i did well So i have a question should I keep the same answers i used in the first interview with the second?
Does anyone have any advice to give?
I recently went to the Starbucks hiring event and I think I did an amazing job I was very upbeat and passionate about their products and really want to work there. I had my interview with the district manager of the stores that are hiring. Anyways the timing was right since I was leaving for vacation on the 17 till the 27 and i told them immediately during the interview and they made a note of that. So a few days went by didn’t hear from them soo I was thinking they might call me after my vacation. I finally got a hold of the district manager who interviewed me and said he handed my resume to the the manager at the new merivale/baeline location he said her name was liz and that she was also on vacation till the 30th I was getting super excited until he said this ” I am not %100 sure if she needs anybody” WTF I don’t know if shes going to give me the job or say no thanks i’ll keep it on file blahhh blah.. If you dont need anyone don’t accept a resume from your district manager…frig.. i hope it all turns out well i just need to get out of metro!!! I hope i get it they were soo impressed during the interview the timing just not on my side.
So i havent posted in awhile soo busy but im on here daily looking at all my awesome followers and followees. So i am in library and info at algonquin and its Ok. I find most of the library info dry but yet very interesting. Since libraries are digtal they are giving us intro HTML/CSS ccourses similar to what tumblr is. I abousoltly love that class i never skip it once and i so far have an “A” in the class soo stoked!!!!!!!!!! I dont have A’s in other classes cause its just blahh i have C’s and stuff. So i had a meeting with my aacdemic advisory who is also my internet apps class I toold her I loved her class and asked her if there are jobs in this and she unfortunatly said no. ]
But! she gave me hope she said the one year interactive media developer is what i am looking for and my heart skipped a beat! becuase i was looking at the 2 year program and restart over this library program is done. She said that there is a 1 year certifcate for people with college dipolmas who had intro courses and want to add on to theri current diploma! i jumped for joy. So what am I planning to do is finish library and appy for that one year certificate.
She says that libraries or other companies hire Web IT developers to do their website but since they dont know library info they need to hire a library tech to show and tell them what they need on their site. but if the web developer person already has library exepreience they onyl need to hire one person. That is what i amk thinking anyways not 100% sure but im sure there are many opportunites with a dual diploma! So pumped for awhile there i was soo confused! and lost but now im on track! I was going to specialize in archives since they have the certificate for it but i find my current archives just interesting but not fully interested in becoming a career. Currently for my inters apps course we are making a small website and I am doing a johnny depp Canadian fansite! so excited!
